Aibeth Centre uses psychological methods, particularly when based on regular personal interaction with adults, to help a person change and overcome problems in desired ways. It also helps to improve an individual's well being and mental health to resolve or mitigate troublesome behaviours, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts or emotions and to improve relationship and social skills. Aibeth centre also provides a range of psychotherapies designed for children and adolescent, which typically involves evidence based practice for treating some diagnosed mental disorders.
This offers treatment of clients individually. It allows for the client and therapist to focus on each other, building a rapport and working together to solve the client issues. The therapist employs evidence based technique that would suite the client's needs
Recovery Is our upmost priority at Aibeth Centre. Being part of a group of people who have the same experience help people see that what they are going through is universal and they are not alone.
Group therapy entails integrating a comprehensive recovery plan that bring together people who have similar challenges to work together toward recovery. In fact, if you try to do it on your own, you are far less likely to make it for the long run. Lasting recovery happens in community and group therapy is one of the best way to keep that going in your life.
The setting is much like a family in some ways, safe, supportive and allowing group members to experiment without the fare of failure. Group members can share their strength and help others in the group which can boost self esteem and confidence
